Our story

Cranefield has been part of the Silverdale motoring scene for more than three decades. Today it's run by Heath and Natalie Moy — Heath is a coast local with over twenty years on the tools, and the workshop reflects that: practical, straight-talking and focused on doing the job right the first time.

We set things up so you only need one number to call. Tyres, wheels, WOFs, servicing and mechanical repairs are all handled in-house, and for panel, glass tint, audio or detailing work we coordinate trusted local specialists so you don't have to.

People who know their trade

Our tyre side is led by a wheel-alignment specialist with a quarter-century in the trade, and our wheel repair work is handled by someone with close to thirty years of experience. In total the team is ten strong — nine technicians plus our office.

Equipment that gets it right

Hunter Elite alignment with non-contact clamps, a laser wheel balancer, MaxiSYS diagnostic tools and a 7-metre hoist that takes motorhomes and small trucks. Good gear means faster, more accurate work.

Tyreworx is a group of independently Kiwi-owned tyre specialists. Being part of it gives us buying power, and being independent means we're free to recommend whatever tyre is genuinely best for your vehicle. We also back local causes, including the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust and Orewa Surf Lifesaving Club.
